Commands and shortcuts

The shortcuts are written as on Linux and Windows. On a Mac, ⌘ stands for Ctrl and ⌥ for Alt (⌘D duplicates, ⌥↑ moves a requirement up), and the editors' menus write them that way; ⌘+scroll, or a pinch, zooms.

The circuit editor

In sight, in the toolbar: ▶ Simulate, ✔ Verify, MC/DC tests; the breadcrumb (Top › …) inside a subsystem; for a requirement's circuit, the requirement's bar (Build circuit, Open in table, Add to a table…, Report…).

The ⋯ menu of the editor: the view (Auto-arrange, Grid), the report (Report…), the exports (Export SVG…, Export to Python), and Name all blocks for a circuit from an older editor.

The corner of the canvas: zoom out, zoom in, fit, and the panel.

The right-click menu of a block, a wire, the selection or the canvas lists their actions with their shortcuts: copy, duplicate, delete, make a subsystem, open or ungroup a subsystem, auto-route a wire, auto-arrange.

Keys Action
a letter, on the canvas add a block by its name
Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V copy, cut, paste the selected blocks (with the wires between them)
Ctrl+D duplicate
Ctrl+G make a subsystem of the selection
Delete delete the selection
Ctrl+A select everything in the level shown
Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Y undo, redo
Ctrl+S save (VS Code)
Escape clear the selection, close a menu
arrow keys move the selected blocks a grid step; with nothing selected, ← and → step through a trace
Shift+F10, the menu key the right-click menu of the selection

Space+drag, middle button pan
Ctrl+wheel, pinch zoom about the pointer
double-click a subsystem open it

The panel has its tabs (Stimuli, Scope, Verify, MC/DC), the number of steps, ◀ and ▶ for the step, and its own ⋯ menus: Import CSV… for the stimuli, the exports of the MC/DC tab. Drag its top separator to resize it; focused, ↑ and ↓ resize it, Home and End to its least and greatest height. A result's row: a click shows its trace or test, a right-click Use as stimuli and Export proof….

The requirements table

In sight: + Add, Generate MC/DC, Search.

The ⋯ menu: Sort by ID, Report…, Import CSV…, Export CSV…, Import circuits….

Keys Action
click, Shift+click, Ctrl+click select a row, a range, more rows
arrow keys move between cells
Enter, F2, a second click edit the cell
Enter, Escape, Tab apply, cancel, apply and go to the next cell
double-click, Ctrl+Enter open the requirement's circuit
Delete delete the selected requirements (their circuits stay on disk)
Alt+Up, Alt+Down move the selected requirements
Shift+F10 the right-click menu of the selected rows: open circuit, duplicate, delete, move, generate tests, report
Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Y undo, redo

VS Code

The commands, in the Command Palette under Intrepid:

Command What it does
New Circuit an empty circuit
New Requirements Table a requirements table, saved where you say
Open Requirements Table open a table of the workspace
Add Circuit to a Requirements Table make the circuit in front a requirement of a table
Requirements Report the report of the table in front, or of every requirement of the workspace
Open Program as Diagram an intrepyd program (.py) or a Lustre model (.lus) as a circuit
Generate MC/DC Tests the tests of a requirement, or of a table (side bar)
Show in Table the requirement's row (side bar)
Show License, Ask for a License, Choose License File… the engines' license
Refresh the side bar's views
Preview Program Circuit (read-only), Regenerate Program as Canonical Python the first, read-only viewer of a program

Intrepid Studio and the demo

The Project menu: New requirements table, New circuit, Open program or Lustre model as a diagram… (the studio), Upload…, Download the project (zip), Requirements report, Add the example (the studio) or Start again from the example (the demo).

The ⚙ menu: the theme, the license (the studio), about.

F1 or Ctrl+Shift+P lists every command by its name, as in VS Code. A file of the side bar has its actions in its right-click menu (Open, Download, Delete, and Open … as a diagram for a program or a Lustre model).
